The Business Initiative Directions (B.I.D.) Century International Quality ERA Convention took place on March 11^th in Geneva InterContinental Convention Hall. The purpose of the 2012 Century International Quality ERA Award in Geneva is to recognize the strong commitment to quality and excellence of awarded companies among the top areas of business, industrial, construction and services.

The 14th Century International Quality ERA Convention - Geneva 2012 is part of the annual program of B.I.D., Business Initiative Directions Awards, designed to recognize the prestige of the outstanding companies and organizations. Dr. Mounir Sinno, Planning and Development Manager of Kabbani Construction Group (KCG), received the CQE from the president of B.I.D. Dr. Jose E. Prieto. The Ceremony was attended by companies from 47 countries, together with leaders from different business fields, professionals from the worlds of economics, the arts and corporate image, quality experts, as well as academic personalities and representatives from the diplomatic corps.

Recognized for commitment to quality, leadership, technology and innovation, KCG represents success for Saudi Arabia in the business word. KCG is made up of a quality management team oriented towards continuous improvement and striving for excellence by spreading the quality culture within the Group.

National Marketing has participated in the Big5 Saudi show which was held in Jeddah between March 10^th – 13^th 2012. National Marketing displayed in its stand a wide range of products manufactured locally by NEPRO or imported from European and American manufacturers. Representatives of the company’s main foreign suppliers such as Weld-On IPS (USA), FRAITEC (Germany), Baenninger (Germany), InSinkErator (USA), Redi (Italy), Kordes (Germany) were present at National Marketing’s stand to help explain and answer questions about the various products from the show visitors. Many visitors from Saudi and other neighboring countries have visited National Marketing stand and had the chance to see and talk about the company’s existing and the latest products introduced to the market. National Marketing staff was pleased by the number of potential clients who visited their stand and the good information was exchanged about the products and their demands in the market.

The National Safety Council will assist us in conducting training programs in the areas of occupational health and safety compliance, safety leadership skills, written safety plans, first aid, defensive driving, industrial hygiene, and occupational health studies. KCG is looking forward to support a safer, healthier and more sustainable society. We believe that no one should die or be injured at work. We are determined to raise standards and save lives.

KCG is pleased to announce that it has upgraded its classification category as a professional contractor in the field of Building Construction and qualified in category 1 by the Contractors Classification Authority of the Ministry of Municipalities and Rural Affairs.

In line with KCG’s business goals, this is an important milestone as it qualifies the company to participate in mega public projects.The Contractors Classification Authority at the Ministry of Municipalities and Rural Affairs has upgraded KCG as a category 1 contractor under one of the major groups of the registration fields – Building Construction.

This contractor’s qualification is accorded only to companies that have sufficient resources, experience, technical expertise and good track record to undertake contracts as defined by the Registration Authorities and the allocated category.

To qualify for category 1, KCG has satisfied the financial, legal, and technical requirements as a professional company having all the required resources and relevant experience. KCG is also qualified under category 3 for Water works (sewage system, networks and tanks), and under Category 4 for Roads, Electrical and Electronic works.

The meeting was well attended by regional, national, administrative, division and country managers with valuable participation of the corporate management from the IKK Group. While the topics of discussions covered the revision of the coming five years budget and new approach to innovate and dominate some new joint venture 0companies were presented. Managers of the year awards were distributed at the end of the meeting by the Chairman of the IKK Group, Sheikh Isam Kabbani and the CEO of KCG, Mr. Fuad Fidda.
