We are proud to announce that BMC Emirates has won the Substructure Waterproofing Package for the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi worth 40 Million Dirhams.

It is the first time in the GCC and the Middle East that this complicated Waterproofing System will be installed.

The Substructure Waterproofing System is comprising of Double Layer TPO Vacuum System along with TPO accessories (Injection Flanges, Water Stops, Steel & Concrete Piles Treatment, Expansion Joints, etc…)

Brief On The Project:

The Louvre Museum to be located on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. The total built up area of the Museum is 24,000 square meters. This is part of an agreement between Abu Dhabi and the French Government. Artwork from around the world will be showcased at the Museum.

This project as designed by Buro Huppold & Ateliers Jean Nouvel is set to become one of the capital’s most defining landmarks.

The project was awarded to Arabtec / Oger Abu Dhabi / San Jose Consortium with 2.4 Billion Dirhams. The Construction is already started and the Museum will be opened by end of 2015.

Dr. Mounir Sinno, corporate planning and development manager, received the award during the International Safety Award Presentation Banquet at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane, in London on Friday 18 May 2012. The banquet provided an excellent opportunity not only to recognize the success, but also network and share ideas with other health and safety professionals.

The Business Initiative Directions (B.I.D.) Century International Quality ERA Convention took place on March 11^th in Geneva InterContinental Convention Hall. The purpose of the 2012 Century International Quality ERA Award in Geneva is to recognize the strong commitment to quality and excellence of awarded companies among the top areas of business, industrial, construction and services.

The 14th Century International Quality ERA Convention - Geneva 2012 is part of the annual program of B.I.D., Business Initiative Directions Awards, designed to recognize the prestige of the outstanding companies and organizations. Dr. Mounir Sinno, Planning and Development Manager of Kabbani Construction Group (KCG), received the CQE from the president of B.I.D. Dr. Jose E. Prieto. The Ceremony was attended by companies from 47 countries, together with leaders from different business fields, professionals from the worlds of economics, the arts and corporate image, quality experts, as well as academic personalities and representatives from the diplomatic corps.

Recognized for commitment to quality, leadership, technology and innovation, KCG represents success for Saudi Arabia in the business word. KCG is made up of a quality management team oriented towards continuous improvement and striving for excellence by spreading the quality culture within the Group.

National Marketing has participated in the Big5 Saudi show which was held in Jeddah between March 10^th – 13^th 2012. National Marketing displayed in its stand a wide range of products manufactured locally by NEPRO or imported from European and American manufacturers. Representatives of the company’s main foreign suppliers such as Weld-On IPS (USA), FRAITEC (Germany), Baenninger (Germany), InSinkErator (USA), Redi (Italy), Kordes (Germany) were present at National Marketing’s stand to help explain and answer questions about the various products from the show visitors. Many visitors from Saudi and other neighboring countries have visited National Marketing stand and had the chance to see and talk about the company’s existing and the latest products introduced to the market. National Marketing staff was pleased by the number of potential clients who visited their stand and the good information was exchanged about the products and their demands in the market.

The National Safety Council will assist us in conducting training programs in the areas of occupational health and safety compliance, safety leadership skills, written safety plans, first aid, defensive driving, industrial hygiene, and occupational health studies.
